Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Outfielder (outfielder.io) and A Accessibility (aaccessibility.com) are services operated by Visionlight Productions Inc., Box 549, Rosenort, Manitoba, Canada R0G 1W0.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of A Accessibility and Outfielder, and of the services we provide through them. By using either site, requesting an audit, booking a call, or ordering services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
The services are provided by Visionlight Productions Inc. (“Visionlight”, “we”, “us”). Outfielder is our accessibility audit and fix service. A Accessibility is the public registry where the confirmation records for rated sites live. Questions about these Terms: support@outfielder.io.
2. Our services
- A free accessibility audit: automated checks plus human review of your website, with the findings explained in plain English.
- The Update: we fix the agreed issues in your website’s code and content, re-check the work, and publish an accessibility statement page.
- The record: every paid job closes with a signed Good Faith Letter and an itemized Compliance Log, both issued by Outfielder as the independent auditor.
- The A: our rating mark for your site’s footer, linking to a public confirmation page at A Accessibility.
- Beyond the Update: larger sites, extra pages and documents, video captioning, and other custom work, quoted in writing before anything begins.
- Barrier reports and the annual re-audit, described in section 7.
A note on legal precedent. In Jones v. Moscot.com (U.S. District Court, S.D.N.Y., March 2026), a federal court dismissed an ADA website case after the business presented an independent consultant's audit report, the corrections made, and its ongoing testing plan; the dismissal was without prejudice. We cite it for one reason: dated, independent records of accessibility work have been weighed by a court. It does not change these terms, and no audit, rating, or record guarantees protection from a claim or determines its outcome.
3. Audits
An audit is a point-in-time assessment of the pages and scope reviewed. Automated tools detect only part of the issues a site can have, so a person reviews the findings before they reach you. An audit tells you what we found; it cannot establish that a site has no other issues.
4. Access to your website
You confirm that you own the website, or are authorized by its owner, before asking us to audit or change it. Fix work is done through a named account you create for us on your platform; we never ask for your own password. We make a backup before changes and keep a log of what changed. You can revoke our access at any time.
5. Fees and payment
The audit is free. The Update is $495, one time, for a standard site. Anything beyond the standard Update is quoted in writing, and work starts only after you approve the scope and price. Video captioning is always quoted separately, per video. Prices are as shown on our site or in your written quote.
6. The 90-Day Fix Promise
If we miss an issue that was inside the agreed scope, tell us within 90 days of handover and we will fix it free. The promise covers the agreed scope as delivered. It does not cover new content, changes made after handover, or issues outside the agreed scope.
7. The A and the public record
The A is Outfielder’s own rating: it means the site passed our standard check of best practices on the dates shown, the issues found were fixed, and the fixes were re-tested. The A is not a WCAG conformance level, not a government certification, and not a guarantee that no barrier exists.
A confirmation page shows only that a record exists: the grade, who issued it, the audit and retest dates, and its status. Detailed findings and work records are the client’s property and are never published. The A is valid for one year from the retest date; after that it shows as lapsed until a re-audit renews it. We may revoke the A if a site no longer meets the standard or the mark is misused, and if the A lapses or is revoked you agree to remove it from your site within a reasonable time. You must not alter the mark or present it as a certification.
Barrier reports. Every confirmation page carries a report form, so a visitor who meets a barrier can tell us. Reports are answered and logged on the site’s record. If a report identifies an issue we missed inside the agreed scope, section 6 applies and we fix it free. Any other fix arising from a report is quoted in writing as custom work, and starts only after the site owner approves the scope and price.
8. No guarantees
We work toward WCAG 2.1 AA as the benchmark, on a best-effort basis. No audit, fix, rating, or record can guarantee full compliance with any standard, prevent a complaint, demand letter, or lawsuit, or determine the outcome of one. Nothing we provide is legal advice.
9. Your responsibilities
Information you give us should be accurate. Your website and its content remain yours, including anything added or changed after handover. If you receive a demand letter or claim that relates to the scope we worked on, notify us promptly, and within 10 days, so the record we hold can be provided to you.
10. Intellectual property
Your website, content, and data remain yours. Our methods, tools, templates, and report formats remain ours. The Good Faith Letter and Compliance Log issued for your job are yours to keep and use as your record.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability arising out of a service is limited to the fees you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost revenue. Nothing in these Terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to cover claims, and the costs of dealing with them, that arise from content or parts of your site outside the agreed scope, and from changes made to the site after handover.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted here applies from the date shown at the top. If a change materially affects a service already underway, we will discuss it with you first.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
